Original owners, Bob Bergman and Colleen Conway, took possession of sans clés September 9, 1999.  On September 10 they motored up the east coast for the Newport Boat Show, just beating Hurricane Floyd.  They weathered the hurricane without any problems, but when the show was over they chose to come back down through Long Island Sound to avoid leftovers from the storm. They passed through New York City on September 20th where this great shot was taken with the twin towers of the World Trade Center in the background.

Then began a three+year sojourn that took them down the intercoastal waterway, into the Atlantic and down to the Caribbean.
